Who holds your data
Vasculindo publishes this educational resource on blood circulation and vascular health. The site is operated from Jl. Jend. Sudirman No. 52, Senayan, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta 12190, Indonesia.
You can reach us at [email protected] or +62 21 5299 7315, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
This policy explains what personal data Vasculindo collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can contact us about it. It applies to vasculindo.com and any messages you send us through the site.
We keep the wording plain on purpose. If a sentence here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it in your own words rather than send you back to the same paragraph. If you want the shorter version first, the three points below cover most of what the rest of this page expands.
- We collect what you send. Your name, email address, and the content of your message, plus call notes if you phone us.
- We do not sell it. No advertising use, no profiling, no third-party marketing lists.
- You can ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] with enough detail for us to find your record.

Data we collect
The two kinds of information this site handles
We collect the information you provide when you contact us through the site: your name, email address, and the content of your message. If you contact us by phone, we may note the details of the inquiry so the next person who answers knows what you already discussed.
We also collect standard technical data automatically when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URL. This data is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used — for example which explainer pages readers open first and where they stop.
We do not ask for health records, test results, or any medical documentation through the site. If you choose to mention something about your own situation in a message, that text sits in the same inbox as any other email you would send us.
Information you send
Name, email address, message text, and any details you include about a question you want answered.
Technical data
IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the referring URL that brought you here.
What we never ask for
Payment details, identity documents, or medical files. Nothing on this site requires you to upload a document.
Why we collect it
Every field has one job
We use contact details to respond to your message and to keep a record of editorial correspondence — the questions readers ask shape which pages we expand next.
We use technical data to maintain the site, monitor for errors, and understand which pages are useful to readers. If a page is opened often but read only briefly, that tells us the writing needs another pass.
We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it to third parties.
Legal basis · consent for messages · legitimate interest for site maintenance
Legal basis and consent
What we rely on when we keep your message
Where required, we process personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting a message through the site. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us and asking us to delete your data.
Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site — keeping it online, spotting broken pages, and knowing which explainers are actually read. That interest does not extend to identifying individual readers, and the reports we look at are aggregated.
Withdrawing consent stops future processing. It does not undo anything we did before you asked, and it does not remove records we are separately required to keep.
Data retention
Contact messages are retained for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. If you ask us to delete your message, we will do so unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
Aggregated technical data is retained in a form that does not identify individual visitors.
Sharing and third parties
We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing. We may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own data protection obligations.
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the site or its users.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies. Our Cookie Policy explains what they are, which categories we use, and how you can control them through your browser.
Your rights
Four things you can ask us to do
-
Ask what we hold
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you. We will tell you which records exist and where they came from.
-
Request a copy
You can request a copy of the correspondence we hold, including the message you sent and our reply.
-
Ask for corrections
If your name or email address was recorded incorrectly, tell us and we will correct the record.
-
Request deletion
You can ask us to delete your message and contact details, unless we are required to keep a record for legal reasons.
To make a request, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to identify your record — the address you wrote from and roughly when you wrote. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

Children
The site is not written for children
The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
This applies to messages sent through the site and to anything noted during a phone call. We do not run accounts, profiles, or sign-in on vasculindo.com, so there is no separate place where a younger reader could create a record.
Changes to this policy
When this page is updated
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site or in applicable law. The effective date at the top of the page will change when we do.
If the changes are significant, we will note them on the site. Substantial rewrites are rare — most updates are small clarifications, a new service provider named under hosting or email delivery, or a correction to a sentence that caused confusion.
Questions register
Short answers to what readers ask most
Contact Do I have to give my name to read the site?
No. Reading any page here requires no account and no details. We only hold a name and email address if you choose to send us a message.
Corrections Can I ask you to fix something in an article?
Yes. Write to [email protected] with the page and the sentence you think is wrong. Editorial corrections are handled separately from data requests, but both arrive in the same inbox.
Retention How quickly will you delete a message I sent?
Once we confirm your request, we remove the message and the contact details attached to it, unless a legal retention obligation applies. We will tell you if that exception applies to your request.
Phone What happens if I call instead of emailing?
We may note the details of the inquiry so the next person who answers knows what was already discussed. You can ask us to delete those notes using the same process as an email request.
Ask us about your data
Write to [email protected] or call +62 21 5299 7315, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Tell us the address you wrote from and roughly when, and we will find the record.
